Weekends Mod's

  RRS, 172, ST3, VTS
Finally got round to installing my sub etc in the boot, decided to sink the sub into the wheel well. So first of all put in a false floor, 1" thick Plywood, then covered it with some black leather.Have a look;

All comments welcome.

i done it cause it looks cool, didnt make any difference what so ever to the sound. sounds alot better than it did in a ported enclosure.

And i'm s**t faced so i'm going to get on my high horse now....

Why buy a 'lightweight' clio CUP and fill it with speakers and amps?!

altogether it weights about 5kg, hardly gona make that much difference really is it?

Sub, power cap, 1" thick ply wood, amp, materials and screws?? 5kg's??

Where did you buy it, NASA??

(again, i'm drunk, please ignore me! lol)

Subtle mate, not too much weight as you say - I've seen waaaay more in a Clio boot and it doesn't affect the car much, unless you're Clarkson lol :cool:

Definitely no need for the Port, I'd have sealed the Sub into a Box in the Wheel Well, I mean its only a 12" Sub isn't it? So will not need all the space it has

Any reasonable system (not going over the top with show spec full fibre glass builds) is'nt going to be anywhere near as heavy as having a passenger sitting next to you so really won't feel that much if anything.
