Weight crappy Cup seats ?

Hi all,

Anyone know how much these standard Cup seats weigh ?

Thinking of putting in some Sparco's or something, weighing 7,5 kg (15pounds) because these Cup seats are also the worst to sit in..

Because it's another lot of cash i would really like to know if there's anything to gain (loose) in weight, or that maybe it's just a small difference ?

yes iirc the 172 cup seats weigh about 25 ish kg, so defo worth replacing them 4 sum buckets imo, i will be when all me engine work is finished (about christmas )

Most car seats are this heavy simply because they recline, so lots of supports etc etc. Cup seats don't have airbags, but that's additional weight on top.
