Well I just couldn't wait any longer!

Eyup mate the car looks really well. where did you get your front splitter from i'm after one for my 182 too.

Thanks Deutsche_blonde :) well it was still clean this morning but just wondering if once I've waxed and polished is there anything I can put over the top to make it more shiny ? :)

Cheers Ben, this is the one I ordered http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Skoda-Fabia-Front-Bumper-Splitter-Part-No-5J08070619B9-/251153661821?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3a79ecbf7d

Best way I've heard is to polish , use a sealant , the wax over that ! Products are your own choice but worth checking with somebody who knows there stuff if they work well together !

Will go to halfords and get some more cleaning products :) Ordered x4 Uniroyal rainsports to be fitted on Friday morning. plus did the RS tuner map on my dinner :)

oh and my badge and splitter have arrived today. ordered a 3/4 plate too :)

can't seem to help myself.

Question time: Can the splitter be installed easily if the car had one previous for instance would all the holes be there from the previous cup splitter? I don't feel comfortable drilling holes in the bumper.

Also is the 3/4 plate illegal ?

Yup, 3/4 is illegal. I took about 1-2 cms off normal plate size. Doesn't look obviously wrong sized but looks a lot better. Bumper should have holes, fairy easy to drill into the bumper if need be tho. Best tip, get the front up on axel stands, saves you being a contortionist.
