Went for a drive...

On Wednesday, got back today!

Basically went up the West Coast, along the North coast and down the East coast of Scotland, car was amazing - roads were tremendous. 700 miles all on A and B roads, prob 100miles of singletrack road. Didn't see a single police car either!

Car will be for sale soon if anyones interested.

yeah went myself, took the week off work to use up holidays and was all a bit last minute. Stayed with mates in Thurso and had a night out with ex colleagues when up there.

Aye John sheep on the road mid bend, happened before and will happen again!

I parked in that exact same lay by near Loch ness and took nearly the same pic as you did!

Used some Nikon software, bit of a ballache to do with it, could have done them better manually tbh! the lighthouse is slightly longer in the pic than in reality, see the same cloud twice?! lol

Aye there's 2 lay-bys there, I swung a U-turn on the A82 (bad boy) and parked up, I had planned to go back around 7.30pm to catch the sunset but my dinner service was too slow

I kept going round bends and just going "wow!" at the scenery, a lot of places were stunning but nowhere safe to stop for pics sadly.

2 day Scottish roadtrip has to be done sometime!

We always think Glencoe is stunning, Sutherland is tremendous the roads are actually better and 1000 times quieter - recommended!

Aye Loch Lomond is a whole 10 miles from my front door lol. Just took those 2 pics cause the weather was decent and I was expecting it to be sunny for any of the rest of the trip, was pleasantly surprised!
