well,now the garage is saying that my optional extra's arent inclded in the price,we agreed on the monthly repayments! in my quote from the other garage they clearly put the extra's down & matched the price. My garage said they would match it,now they're debating it,when its clearly in black n f'in white!

Then the cup spoiler! Am i right in thinking that most extra's are added at the depo? (what i was told originally) Well,now i've been told it wont come fitted or painted which will cost me an extra £100! but thats ok,because his mate can do it 4me! i am at boiling point! This is my local dealer,this is my third clio from them & they're trying to screw me! Advice PLEASE!

tbh, they've messed u about a lot now.

just walk away, and go to the "dealers" section of renaultsport.co.uk

if u do walk, maybe they'll try and work something out with u, and if not then there are plenty of helpful dealers on there who can secure you a car at bargain prices anyway, and from what ppl have said, there service has always been top class.

i think a guy called marc elgar on there is meant to be good.

wat price did they quote you on that? it should be abt £350 including painting and fitting IIRC.

speak to the branch manager and tell him your thinking of complainning to renault UK about there conduct.

Failing that could be one for the ombudsman, id take it the distance!

The cup spoiler would be painted and fitted at the factory not the import centre . The only things fitted on entry into the UK were the alarms at the import centre and the splitter at the dealership .

If your not happy with the deal walk away . Lots of 182's out there to choose from .

are u sure?

cos, i'm 99% sure that the spoilers aren't done at factory, because they come up on a different order sheet to the rest of the options. They're classed as an accessory as opposed to an option.

stuff like the tunepoint, spoiler, splitter etc. only gets done when it arrives in the country.

correct. im so stressed! the original email that they said they would match had the cup spoiler down as £350 or so. im not giving up without a fight. They've chosen the wrong lady 2mess with! thanks guys

Would have to agree. Imagine what will happen if you have warranty issues too.

only £500. The car is supposidly arriving today. Iv been pissed about so much. Just gunna wait to hear from them.

Don't collect the car until the price issue's resolved. If it's in the contract you have, they don't have a leg to stand on, speak to the CAB.
