@Stefan. How did you fix it?
Put something under the exhaust mount to keep it where you want mate.
You just have to change a headlamp bulb to realise that mate😂.Fitted solid gearbox mount but my god what a pain in the arse. Ran out of light too so ended up holding a torch in my mouth. Not a fun few hours but it's done. I think renault have a fetish for over complicating things and putting bolts in impossible to reach places!
I've yet to replace one, I really can't wait to experience itYou just have to change a headlamp bulb to realise that mate😂.
If you look at any thread that's had an engine out you'll see the mc is rusty. Don't be too worried about it.Most of the AC gone

I started poking around but stopped when I found some rust on the master cylinder
From behind the wing? I had the same last year. Some are probably upto the side repeater by now 🤣.I find this funny and shocking at the same time.

That's exactly what I was thinking hahaBloody good job they are plastic ain't it! 😂
Yeah I'd say mine is similar to be fair, I panicked I think! There is a nasty bit up high where the tunnel for the exhaust and handbrake cables run but I'll need to get the tank out for that.
Modified nut/spacer, pt no 8200867250 needs to be used with 543A09780R.Some new top mount sets on the ph1 172 and found bearings solid so guess it will make it steer a little better now and fixed the sticking rear caliper, just a quick strip and clean freed it up
