Ah wet glaze. Impressive product. I had some when it was made by danasè.

Seems to have some decent reviews recently. Like that it does not seem fussy what it's applied under / over.

On the other hand, leaving an unopened bottle of IronX and TarX in your bedroom thinking it will be ok... It's not. All windows open trying to vent the smell that's built up whilst I've been at work :/ FAIL!

Gally is amigo realy that good?

Ive seen quite a few people rave about it lately, and would it work with r222 or is it a similar product?

R222's cleanser? Similar product.

No cleanser or Glaze is as slick as Amigo but i'd probably say R222's has the edge on Silver.

I use Amigo as a glaze with a straight cleanser before.

I'd use R222's as a cleanser/glaze one combo.

Forget the rim wax it's a waste of your time.

Get some AG HD. Looks fine and lasts ages. Do no more than 2 panels at a time.

Please listen to this, DO NOT BUY rim wax! I only use it to clean up exhaust tips in a bid to use it up and not throw it away.

My choice would be the HD wax over DJ, just get the hang of putting it on in thin layers and you're sorted.

Yeah. I love DJ waxes. I'm actually on the look out for an old pot of Purple haze just for the lolz.

I've always said nothing beads like a DJ wax. I see 6 months out of 2 layers no problem.

if you want a paste wax type sealant, 476 / fk1000 / AF mint rims.

or a spray sealant like Gally said

for the ultimate wheel sealant as mentioned in a lot of threads recently.................... GTechniq C5

Nice order mate let me know how you get on. :)

Pointless me starting up a new thread, what's people's views on this:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ZYMOL-CAR...Accessories&hash=item415ce36e77#ht_2747wt_986

Zymol Carbon, HD Cleanse, an applicator and postage for £56.84

Similarly Zymol Glasur for £72.46:

You take a risk in getting customs charges mate, that's why it's so cheap mate.

anybody know anything resistant to diesel sut on the exhaust tips?

planning on getting a custom built for my car and it will be subtle on show.

and whats a good heat resistant wax?

I see. So what's the chances of getting charges? You don't think it's worth the risk for £30?

It's all the luck of the draw. If they check your package then you'll get charged Import Duty @ 20%. Plus there may be an additional fee, e.g. £5.00 either as a handling fee, or because the courier has dealt with customs on behalf (it's happened to me with DHL and Royal Mail in the past). Hopefully it will pass by for you though :).

GTechniq C5 works pretty well, and you can use the rest to coat your wheels

sealants are generally more heat resistant tbh.

FK1000 is the usual go-to heat resistant sealant, but there are may other options

cheers i will have a look into it :)
