what is required to fit a F4RT in a 197?

  Audi A5
So then chap this is something that a lot of us love the idea of and I dont recall a thread on this so what required to make it work?

I've heard that the drive train is the same on these and that the engine and gearbox from a 225/230 will fit straight in on the original engine mounts, is this true?

Would a stand alone ecu be required or could either of the standard ecu be used?

Is their enough room down the back of the engine bay for turbo, mani etc? And how Would you go about linking to exhaust? Fabrication or off the shelf parts available?

Is their any build projects/guides floating about the internet? Maybe on 197.net?

Any info appreciated :)

Yeah I saw he built chris dark's I'm reading his project thread now.

Apparently is a relatively easy conversion, but their doesn't seem to be any people doing it...

Hopefully their be some people along soon who have done it to shed some light on it.

Probably cause the actual car outlay is too high compared to 1*2's.

If you can fit the f4rt in a 172 bay then it should be easy enough in a 197. There will be issues that you will have to overcome as you reach than much as I and others have done.
