What is this? 182 content

i made a post asking for a rain sensor, the one that goes on the windscreen, a member said they had one.

paid and after a long wait and a number of e-mails i get something through the post.

now what i got looks nothing like my existing sensor, it has no wires or electronics in it. its just a bit of plastic, much bigger than my current sensor.

the member is now not returning my PM and im getting a little fed up.

anyone know what this is?

when i open the little black circle thing, theres just a clear bit of plastic inside?

Looks like some kind of photocell!

edit - it's not for a 197 (or similar) is it?

FPMSL what is that?? Definately not a rain sensor for a 182.

to be honest im not sure whats gone on with that, my own fault for not checking what was in it, i had a rain sensor ordered for another car, customer didnt turn up for it, you asked, i thought yesi have one, sent it out.

didnt even look in it as i wouldnt know what i was looking at.

i can get a genuine one from renault for you or a refund.
