B Reg, 957cc Popular Plus Fiesta, in Red with a massive dent in the door after I spun it into a tree.

You could tell it was the Plus, cos it came with headrests and a clock.

Renault 11 1.4 Automatic - properly luxurious for a first car - electric windows and sunroof iirc lol

Was well comfy though - took me from the flatness of essex, up and down the devon hills (before being taken out by a tractor!) and later to the northern lights of blackpool. Was like sitting in an armchair - do actually miss it as it was great for driving in traffic! Not a spot of rust on it and it was an A-reg!

1977 VW Polo - GAA 104S. Was my parents, then my sisters, then mine, and in the end my missus had it. Flogged it for £50 to a guy as a project for his son ... my missus took half of the money the cheeky mare . Did about 130k - last 50k without going about about 50 mph. Valve guides were shot and so was a back pressure which caused oil to come up from the sump into the air filter housing if you went above 50!

95 Clio "Les Routiers" 1.2. 5 door. Got it in 2000 i think, sold it in 2002. 1 Lady owner before me.

Put 13" 5 spoke alloys on it which were a big improvment in looks. Fitted a high level brake light... why i dont know.

Manual windows and roof. No rev counter. Was a nice car though.

I got a 1.3 Mk2 Astra (not a merit). Was a D Reg and cost £595 which I saved for myself.

I put some SXI alloys on it and took it for a spin on a sunday.....life was good, then a taxi driver reversed into me and punctured the radiator and smashed the bumper.....he admitted the blame but then later said I went into the back of him!!! b******s. So began a hate campaign against him and his firm. Needless to say - to see that justice prevailed I erm....*found* a witness to prove my innocence and I won the claim...The sad news is that the car was of course written off and because he had contested the claim I didnt get money for 6 or 7 months. At 18 to not have a car for that amount of time was a nightmare and due to my sleeping habits I give all the blame of me dropping out of college to that one guy and his taxi. Cos i couldnt be arsed to catch the packed college bus every day.... GIT

Anyway, then my first proper car was a Kreg Ice white Clio 1.4 8v RT.... Loved it for 4 years......

fiesta GHIA (whoo top of the range) 1.1 in green (actually quite a nice colour), modified with 15s, and a whole host of other subtle things, looked really smart and upto date at the time, used to turn lots of heads (honestly!!). Was a good 1st car!.

I passed my test in 1996. Unfortunately my first car was a 1982 Fiesta 1.1 GL which I bought off my grandfather for £50 ! It rusted like fook so me and my dad spent one day patching it up with a mix of fibreglass and stella artois cans ! LOL !

I have no photos of it which is a shame because at the time I was just chuffed to have some wheels ! I had it for a year before I got a brand new 1997 Clio 1.4 Sport, quite a step up ! I loved that car !

Orange W reg (1980) Mini 1000. Broke down nearly everyday even after replacing 2 engines after blowing one to peices and cracking the sump on the other during a spot of rally driving down a local dirt track.

My 2nd car, another Mini but with a MG metro engine in it was a much better car though and a lot more reliable.....still managed to blow the engine in that one though after a while.

I had a Mkr 2 fiesta in yellow!!!. But I hadnt passed my test so I never got to drive it legally. First proper car that I owned was a blue nissan micra. I had it from new because of the free insurance.

Absolutly wicked little car. Nice little 1 liter 16 valve. I then moved to a nissan almera (not bad, wouldnt ever have another one) and then I saw the light last year and got my 172.

I loved our Viva (named Betsy!) she was a great car until someone wrote her off!

First car, that was mine, was a brand new P Reg Clio Club Med 1.2 in Naples Red.

Up until then just used to use my works van - 1.6 Astra with a dragon down the side of it! Got all my bad driving out of my system in that van!

yeah it was only me in the car, only injuries was a cut head and a chipped finger :S

I took out an electrical pole, landed on my wheels in someones front garden. Facing the other way to which i was going. Scary as f**k. Police reckon an inch either way and i would of hit her house, and then it would of been fatal.
