what would you haggle to on a v6

found a lunar grey (sexual colour, not to everyones taste) V6 255 on a 2005 (54) with 500 miles and I.D leather as well, which is a bonus, they have it up for £21995, what should i try and work em down to? and how much should i demand for my IMMACULATE 2004 172 cup which is totally std and done 11800 miles trade in?!

Work them down?! Seems like an impressive bargain already, if you can get it for £20k its basically theft!

You should be looking at £8k for your 172 Cup.

so id be looking at blagging em to maybe knock a grand off it...then try and get 8k for mine, which ill need to £9k loan over 4 years, this is do-able..

i may as well un-do my belt now though, as insurance will literally bum rape me, im gonna go and see what they say later though!

i think the dealer will offer you 7k for your cup, and they may knock upto 1k of the v6

Just goto the dealer. Tell them how much cash you have and ask them if you can have it.

If not leave your contact number and walk away.

So you want £8k for the clio, then you have £12000 cash to supplement it.



Im sure if they are stuck too sell it they will sell it, and you get a nice phone call.

I told the dealer i had £10,600 to buy a clio. And i got a 04 Clio 182 for that...
