What's the furthest you've travelled to buy a Clio (or any other car!)?

I bought my Escort RS turbo less than a mile from my house and the Clio 172 cup from about the same distance.

My Clio 182 was walking distance lol, I literally walked there to see it...

I'm not one to go far tbh, I usually get what's near and make it my own! Furthest was probably about 50 miles for my R5 GT Turbo, but then they are pretty slim pickings aren't they.

My clio was about 150 miles round trip there abouts so not too bad at all.

Other than that I have got quite lucky really and never had to travel more than 120 or so miles round trip which is nothing in comparison to some of the above posts!

Flew from edinburgh to london for my old ph1 I bought from Steve r sports cars and drove back. More recently drove to Yorkshire for my 330ci. Don't mind travelling for the right car. Sold 3 cars from buyers from London who flew up and also sold my v3 sti scoob to a lad from Ireland who flew over.

I walked to the end of the road, about 40 meters, to look at a 182 with a for sale sign in the window...was only looking around it when the seller came out.

Was on my drive the next day.

Two months later and i'm still loving it. Cant ever see me selling.

I delivered a clio 182 to a friend of mine in the French Alps, literally the whole way across France, 20 minutes from Switzerland, around 650miles, left at 5AM and got there at 5PM
