Caterham 1400 Supersport
Hi All,
Im the new owner of BenHs Clio 172 mk2 (formely Dais car I believe), Ben now has my Fiat Coupe 20VT (which I miss very much).
In brief, im looking for a cheap set of alloys (most likely from an existing Renault) to take 225/45/16 tyres, 48 offset, 7 or 7.5j.
Well, im collecting another 20VT tomorrow, and have a new set of Dunlop 225/45/16 racing tyres ready to go on for my sprinting and track days. Id like to use these same tyres on the Clio, but will obviously need new 7 to 7.5J rims.
Your FAQs lists the MK2 172 as an offset of 48, so (im getting there ) is there an existing Renault which uses a suitable size rim?
Im not too fussed about what they look like, just hoping to pick up a bargain set, and am guessing that if (for example) Lagunas used this size, id be able to get these at a good price from ebay etc.
All help greatly appreciated.
Here are some pics -
(The red Coupe is the new one - not as good as my old one, the joys of rrunning your own business )
