williams on track, with elise 111r

alright jon not seen you for ages, whats the crack with the 1 in front now? I know you had a rebuild last year, what sort of spec it it? Looks fooking rapid! cant believe how quick you get through 2nd gear in that first bit

Gonna get myself down to york this year, just witing for a new map putting on the car, should be pushing 300 bhp but I'm still gonna avoid going head to head with you haha

mines a bit poorly still at the moment lol....back to 14.6 1/4s mid 5s 0-60s.......did have the kent cams etc in but they fukt up n caused severe damage to the williams head. so am now running a std 1800 valver head, with std williams cams, and the re-mapped ecu i had done for the kent cams, so its not ideal at the mo. have got throttle bodies to fit, wen i get me arse in gear lol, but wont be fitting them til after the oulton park trackday at end of june....so nows ur best chance for a head to head lol

225 tops you wont be getting 300 thats for sure come on you know that....

111r is only the s2 elises, you are right.

But it can still be up to 190bhp(VHPD) with a K series.
The sport 160 K series will keep up with a 111r easily, its a bit lighter.

That looks to be a standard s1. Probably around 118bhp.

Anyone know whats been done to the Willy though?

willy was runnin 263 deg cams, set to tdc as no vernier pullies were used, and a re-mapped ecu, remapped for a diff engine in a diff car lol. de-cat , cat back zorst.


rest is as reno intended.


williams prob runnin around the 180 mark.

tbh mate, imo if a car and driver are on track, they prepared to give it death.

fair enuff some take a while longer to get up to speed than others, be it confidence, skill, or just a slow car.

on that day in those cars mentioned, with the drivers of all cars mentioned, the williams comes out on top. which i dont think is unfair to have the 'vs' in the title, as i was following the elise, and gettin severely hampered with my progres by him, and you cant say he wasnt trying lol

and jesus..with the skyline, the guy was cornering pretty well, was leaving us down the straights. now is that the actions of a newbie?? ............errrrrr no i dont think so.


granted on a straighter track the liner would have battered the williams, but they arent exactly reknowned as a straight line car are they lol, but wen it gets to the corners...is where we caught him back up, maybe he wasnt as committed as jesus, maybe he was...until u actually ask the guy driving u will never know. and even then, he might not tell you the truth lol.

I was mainly thinking he'd do me on brakes and corner exit speed... tbh he only had me on straight line grunt and corner exit speed and even then the exit speed wasn't as significantly better as I had expected... still, I reckon had I been the Skyline owner the Willy shouldn't and wouldn't have seen which way I went. I was murdering him on braking, which is a very bad sign considering my brakes! hehe
