Willy Lump or 2.0 Bottom end

Any ideas whats the best combo? I was looking at putting a Willy lump in, but after hearing about Adis valver and how quick it is with 2.0 bottom end and a few other bits im not to sure what to do now!

What would produce more power? with the same engine modifications to it, like cams, head work, chip etc.

Do you still have the same power band with a 2.0 bottom end as you do with a Willy, or have you got to wait til 4k revs til the power comes in?

the 2ltr bottom end will change the powerband and hand you more torque, but it will be diff from the willy as the cams are ever so slightly diff.

Using a 2ltr bottom end or a willy engine is about the same thing. The ONLY dif between the 2 apart from the 2ltr short motor is the 2mm oversize inlet valves and diff cams.

With all teh same mods, the willy engine will give marginally more power.

But go for the 2ltr megane bottom end, its cheaper and just the same when your running the std throttlebody,
