Winding down coilovers.

  Civic Em1, Civic Eg4
Right i may sound like a right c**k now. I was lowering the front end of my car today and i was turning the two bolt things you use the C spanner to turn upwards away from the floor. Is this the wrong way as the front seems to sit higher than it was before :S Can someone tell me if its the right way or do i need to be twisting them down to the floor for it to be lower?

Damn, im a tw*t! I started off twisting them that way but then thought maybe i should be twisting them up as i would be compressing the spring smaller then. O well will be a shorter job tomorrow then.

You would think, but the strut is being pushed down, while the spring is being pushed up, thus making them higher.
