Wife drives a Toyota Yaris T-Sport which she just bought. Its so wicked I had to put it on my profile and pretend its mine! Did a bit of cruising around Southend last night looking for a race up and down the A127, I was pretty surprised, considering its just a souped up shopping car and pretty high off the ground, there were a lot of motors I encountered that were up for a race but couldnt live with the pace and handling, or of course it could be that they bottled it:

BMW convertible of some kind, brand new

Alfa with a big spoiler, pretty new again, I can never remember which model is which

Couple of Escort RST lookalikes (?), or maybe real ones but unmodded and badly driven?

Nova with 5 cap-heads in it

A few modded Puntos on their way down to the seafront.

And yes this is all in half an hour of cruising up and down the A127 looking for a race. Ahhh the joys of Friday and Saturday night around Southend!

My hubby has an MGZS180 and drives it hard and fast...we have a landing pad insted of a drive!!!!

Well the ex drives a valver, hence Im on here. And, of course, it was great. She always used to moan at me for driving too fast round corners, even when I was nowhere near the limits of the tyres/car. That and shed change up at 4k before all the power comes in. Shed moan at me for taking the bait off someone else and racing, but *of course* it was ok for her to do it occasionally... "I dont do it as much as you!" "I want my car in one piece" etc etc...

Bloody women.

Id have her back tomorrow though...

My wife bought her new car yesterday... An audi A3 Turbo. Very nice car, not as quick as the Cup or 172 but very solid and classy, I liked at.

At the same time I played with an R32 Golf as I was offered it. I was very very impressed and Im really thinking of changing my plans (buying a s1 Elise to go with the cup) and trading the Cup against the Golf. I reckon there is next to nothing between the two cars pace wise but the Golf wins hands down on toys and noise!
