Took it in first thing for a new backbox at Elite Custom Exhausts, Johnny didn't disappoint :) Looks so much better hidden away than the cannon I had on. Phoned Adam and ordered new a coil pack, leads and new interior door handles.

The first times I used it, I was really impressed by how much claying makes a difference to the finished result. Leaves the paint lovely and smooth

I didn't like the red caliper paint so took it off then painted them with silver hammerite. Looks much better

I have always liked the Rallye, in the best colour as well :) Hopefully have the GTI back on the road very soon. Miss the pugsport sound!

I am finally going to get a machine polishing kit tomorrow from chemical guys. I got some new Angelwax UV hyper shampoo (antistatic also) yesterday which is really good and some Guardian samples to try. I can't wait to get started!!

I wet sanded mine with 1500 grit then 2000. I had some G3 left so borrowed my neighbours machine polisher and they came up well

Washed her with some new shampoo. Has an antistatic in it so see how that is tomorrow morning. UV protection as well :cool:

Put the car in for new rear shocks and lambda sensor, feels so much better. Ordered the plastic trim that is behind the rear wiper arm because mine looks tatty

Cleaned the throttle body, hoovered and detailed the interior. Might have fixed the occasional flashing of all the indicators as they do it intermittently (connected to the immobiliser I think).

I might just go for the eibachs then as I don't want to wait to go lower! I phoned Adam at Wests yesterday to order rear shocks. I asked about the cup shocks but he said only the rear ones fit so just went for standard shocks. I had spax adjustables on my saxo, they were good

Posting no more until new backbox and lowered lol. Eibachs could be a shout as I have been reading cooksports have been hard to get hold of. Just them two things and will be 10x better. Just things keep getting in the way :( Should be progress from end of the month onwards

Mine is still on stilts but getting cooksports at the end of the month, if not definitely the next if they have them in stock. I thought they might have been shorter with how she stands. Would you rate the eibachs?

I got her some new shoes, Uniroyal RainExpert's. More importantly she is back on the F1's :D Also booked her in for MOT next Monday then into the garage to get lambda sensor and exhaust welded and any work that needs done to pass if she fails

Replaced the thermostat then put her in the get a new radiator as she is losing a lot of coolant

I got new wheel bolts so put them on the other day and got new plates through today. Make such a difference to the front :)
