Well to say I’ve lost interest in the Clio I’ve just picked up 2 new doors which are in far better condition then mine now! A new non hazed drivers headlight and also booked the car in for a full detail again at the end of September

Yeah I may aswell experience it!! It’s all ready to go basically seats being fitted end of the month and track wheels being painted at work when there’s time

Bit of an update as it’s slowly progressing now!

Tuesday the club sports where fitted alsong side changing the passengers door as the gf put a nice dent in it!!

Before anyone mentions the passenger seat is more forward on purpose. Picked up 2 universal seat belt clasps to use also!

Weighed the old sport seats and wow!! 23kg per seat!

I’m Getting the car prepped for csf now so I ordered some fresh oil and coolant, decided while I’m at it to buy a new coolant bottle so currently waiting on that to be delivered

To make things easier I picked up a 8lt drain pan from screwfix £4 which seemed decent

Also picked up a new drivers headlight as mine is getting condensation and keeps fogging up! Already been polished and sealed!

To my surprise the adjuster on the new headlight is knackered! So that’s another little job I’ll try and do! I have fat fingers so this could be fun!!

Finally got round to powder coating the track wheels!

Nothing special just a quick lick of matt black to tidy them up!

My new omp wheel turned up today thanks to @imprezaworks now waiting on the momo boss kit! Hopefully to have these fitted before csf!!

Not sure which is annoying! Only drove it once since the new door and that was to work! It’s like someone has squeezed past to get in there car and it’s like a button on there trousers maybe? Back to square one tbh lol it’s too deep to touch up also

Yeh drivers seat looks a bit wonky. Just bang some washers somewhere to level it out.

I noticed the new clubsports have a different design on the harness sleeves.

Well had a disastrous morning just for a simple oil change!

Dropped the oil using my new oil pan [emoji57] great buy I must say so!

Well came to take the filter off and jeez!! The thing would not budge at all!! Used my normal filter removal tool but nope nothing !

Even after borrowing tools and trying the rough way with a screw driver still nothing!! ?

So had a little google and came across a different style of filter removal at Euro parts and well it was bloody perfect [emoji108]

So while the bumper is off I managed to remove the fogs and surrounds so I can fit the bass ports, they look to need some minor modification to get them to fit!

I also gave the wheels a quick clean, I’m thinking of getting some wheel wax to give them a seal as the track day will certainly abuse them!

Mocked up a way of mounting some mesh to the brake ductings as I didn’t want to run a risk of sucking anything in!!

I Laser cut the mesh discs and strips, used the rolling machine to get the close enough diameter of the ducts with the strips then tacked it all together, quick blast of black paint and I’ll Rivet them on [emoji106] should hopefully do the trick

Had the mesh painted up in the darkest colour we was using today, and used Rivets to fasten it all together!

I need to pick up some plastic primer and satin black paint to give the fog surrounds a freshen up and then hopefully get them fitted to the bumper and put back together [emoji106][emoji108]

Just gave the fog surrounds and ducts a quick lick of primer, I’ll be using satin black to match with the upper and lower grills
