I should probably pick this up again, it's been a while since I was on it.

I need to pick this up again too, was enjoying it but just stopped playing amd never picked it back up.

3.5 years ago now, Aaron's post sounds familiar though

I think the hardest puzzles were the rooms where you moved the floors, they were really tricky, especially when you wanted to collect the chests too.

The animals isn't hard, just a grind. If you spot new animals as you play through I recommend catching them to save time at the end.

Finally understand the puzzle to with the pictures that represent numbers. Done a few now. Did a bit roaming round the castle finding some stuff, done the first dual battle and need yo meet up with Professor Weasley again, think it’s time to head to the village

So essentially if you sell an item it is no longer there to be 'used', you'll notice each item has an offence / defence rating so you want to select the item of clothing which has the highest rating to make your character as strong as possible.

That covers the 'attributes' of an item

In terms of how your character looks, when you are on the main page for the gear, hover over the area (cloak for example) and press X on Xbox, square on PS5 no idea on PC and you can customise the look of an item.

Any item you have found can be used for the look weather you have sold it or not, this way you can make you character look how you want, whilst freeing up gear slots, and ensuring you always have the strongest clothing on.

I'll try to get some photos of what I mean later on unless this now makes sense or unless someone can interpret my gibberish and translate it to a sensical response 😂
alright, I'm back on this game and i've just landed in Hogsmead and not I'm starting to see I'm full on items or something so i guess I'm ready to sell / destroy items of clothing. I understand on the main page for the hat , gloves, scarf and that. So on that page it';ll show on items i got still and items i have sold, so how do i free up stuff so i can make room for other items, as I'm starting to see trunks and i got no more space. Was there a place in Hogsmead and is there a place on the menu where i can delete items?

You can sell stuff to any shopkeeper in the game

I’ll be popping on this again tomorrow and take a look. So I need to equip the most powerful items and sell the rest but they done remove from my wardrobe so to speak?
That's right, equip the ones with the best stats and then sell the rest. They're gone from your inventory but you can still alter the appearance to match anything you've previously collected, so if you like how a particular item looked you can still go back to that style and keep the stats of the currently equipped item
