I think the combination of the BMC Carbon airbox and large intake tubing adds to the noise more.

Apart from the noise I definitely feel a bigger pull throughout the rev range esp higher up. Ive had loads of different exhausts inc a decatted Lotus sport janspeed exhaust on my Elise - but this combo has the biggest 'feeling' of change.

does sound throaty as hell which is why i would love one of these on my car, but no way could i live with that level of noise for my only car as im ghey lmao. do you know if they can silence them? or do they only come in the option of loud, or very loud

sounds mental, i dont think you should get it cut into the bumper, looks more like mental race system (As it was designed) when it sits the way it does now.

i want 1 of these exhausts when/if i do my conversion

Middo - Have a chat to Yoz/Fred they could sort something out for you im sure.

Remember - I have a straight through decatted system so its going to be loud.

Its hard to capture the real sound of it digitally, in the skin it doesnt sound 'big bore/maccy dees' - it sounds more of a raspy noise like the WRC cars.

Only two things concern me about the exhaust, how close it will be to the tarmac and if it is too loud for most circuits!

Having heard a Supersprint i know how hard they are hard to resist. The noise is just immense, and as Chris is using his as stripped out track toy he is definetly justified in getting it!

Its a track car, so nowt wrong with the exhaust. It will see decent gains, and as long as your happy with it then

They do sound good (until you have to put up with it every day! lol) however you're going to be very near to the noise limit at most circuits and run the risk of not being allowed on track because of it. I'd rather have a slightly quieter one for the sake of 2-3bhp, my magnex with a decat was bad enough!

lol Fred.... It does have the extra silencer on the mid pipe [more like the size of a cigar though! :rasp: - I can only imagine the sound of a totally unsilenced effort!

If you look carefully in the below pic you can see the midpipe silencer [long pipe under the red Mini bumper] Tiny isnt it! lol
