please help seriously :(

sounds like your breather pipe is not connected to the intake pipe, mine did this on my old mk2 ph1 1.2 pissed all over the underside of the bonnet as the fit wasnt very good and it would occasionally come out.

now im not too good with bits in the engine lol...i got the filter on the bit where the old air box used to be...from the filter i have a pipe coming from the bottom of it onto a kinda metal pipe bit ontop of the engine.....and thats all thats connected to the actual engine.....but then i got a metal or plastic black pipe leading from the grill of the car up to about 10cm away from the filter that i asume is blowign the cold winter air into the filter...
however the rubber circleon the fliter that slips over the bit that the airbox used to b attatched to isnt on perfectly as i found it almost impossible to slip it over 0.5cm of metal....also the pipe that connects from the engine to the filter is quite badly bent cause its not quite long enough....which actually now i think about itcould b the cause for a bit of an unusual "air rushing threw small hole" noise which i think could b bad for the engin if its not getting enough air into it...s**t.....would that of been the cause for my full tank of oil leekage?

Second pic down shows the breather pipe....is it resting against the filter there or is it actually plugged into an outlet?

If it is it looks like a small jubilee may be in order.....the angle it's at may be letting air escape round the edges.

no its actually plugged into the filter with a small section of plactic pipe about 2 1/2 inches long.....however the very bottom of the rubber part of the filter as shown in this picture isnt completely covering everything because im finding it finger painfully hard to fit it right over.....i know its supposed to b a tight fit but its too bloody hard...
