Possibley the simplest question I've ever asked on here...
is it just a case of undoing the 6/7 torx screws and lifting the cover or will I need to undo the jubilee clip on the hosing then remove the job lot to get to the filter?
haha no probs mate!! its actually one mod even i can do without messing up lol. in fact i could probably drop the screws down into the engine knowing me so scrap that lol
I did a lot of the work on my valver myself, just a case of diving in and having a look but now I got the 172 I wan't to look after it a bit more and do stuff correctly...
i was going to to a how too with pics and everything but it really is that simple, undo the jubliee clip which connects the hose from the top of the airbox to the throttle body (i think) then undo the screw which hold the top of the airbox in place. a quick wiggle (of the airbox thankyou very much!) and the top comes off. Easy as really :>
