197 Cup Ordered Today

Well as from a few previous posts I went down to my renault dealer today and signed a new deal for a 197 Clio Cup in Glacier White, arrives next week.

Cant wait and got a good deal also, dident go for any extras, just the stand alone model.

Will post some piccies when I get it, will miss my 182 deeply as its been a great car, but the quality isn't as good as the 197.

I collected my RB Cup today and you will not be dissappointed.

The drive is so good (already) that you don't even notice you are missing a soft dash-board......................................

From reading everyone who has bought the 197 cup, they have got it alot cheaper then what I have bought mine for.

Im paying normal list price but they gave me 8k for my 182 55 plate

can peeps link what they paid for there new 197 cup plz and what dealer, I have bought mine from Evans Halshaw, but if I can get it cheaper I will cancel

Cash doesnt always give you the best deal. Dealers get huge commision off finance deals.

I think 8k is about 1k higher than would be expected for a PX. So overall that seems reasonable. Delivery is pretty quick. Any options?

I took this to my local dealer (Evans Halshaw) and they matched it.

If your place doesn't match it phone up the guys on this eBay advert and see what they (Masters Renault Dealership) will give you for a trade in.

Paying list is mental, there are loads of places to get a deal!

If the car you ordered doesn't have the Recaros already fitted - then I think they're something like £850 per seat and that doesn't include the subframes.
If I were you cancel the order, go speak to someone at Martins in Basingstoke - mention the renaultsport.co.uk site and they'll give you a good trade in on your 182 and do you a good price on the Cup. Probably around the 12,995 plus options mark.

If it's a car without options (ie not built for you) then I think you're entitled to cancel the order.

Ahh screw the Recaro's............. Can get them at a Later date, plus I aint gonna be putting it on the track anyhow.

Normal seats should suit me tbh.

Just cant wait to get in it.
