brake big problem, HELP??

Coming home just now and the pedal went past its usual braking point and only started braking right at the bottom, it started to brake at the usual point then stopped braking then only started again right at the bottom. Got out to check the level, is ok in between min and max, then put the handbrake on and that did exactly the same as the pedal went to where it usually does bit slightly then continued right up very high. Then set off again and went to reverse up the drive and BANG! The handbrake would not move up at all and the back brakes (I think) were stuck on tried again and BANG again. The handbrake went back to normal and so has the footbrake, handbrake is slightly worse than usual and there was a smell of burning when I got out.

going to have a look in morn and take it garage if I can’t suss it out

no abs on it

ill strip the hub down in the morn, it sounded like my wheel had been ripped off lol

rear shoe pins broken?...shoes may have moved away from backplate which could explain your pedal travel and incorrect operating handbrake matey.

pretty sure its rear brakes cos of handbrake and big bang from the back lol, get my dad help me stip them down in the morn.

dont think it will be that cos the levels havnt dropped, also it went back to "normal" after the 2 big fat bangs the burning brake smell just gone slightly shitter now

just got both rear hubs off and found one of the cylinders leaking and 3 off the shoes had come off, going to get a neighbour to change both the cylidinders and all the rear shoes. gave my hubs a touch up while they were off.
