Power Gains From ECU Re-Map?

Have a clio II mk1 172. Been told a friend can do a full re-map of my ECU for £180 to either gain more power or more economy.

If I go for power, what gains can I reasonable expect? seen previous threads suggesting 10 - 15bhp.

Any advice would be gratefully received

Could do with more torque. Feels quite sluggish, always guessed it was down to the weight of the car. Will get it done then. Cheers

It will feel 'sluggish' until you get higher up the rev range as its a non aspirated engine, ive got a remap and yeah theres an improvement but for big gains in torque start saving for a supercharger:)

If you go on RSTuning's website, it gives you a rough idea of what power increases you may gain from a re-map.

... Probably for a £350+ custom map though! From a RStuner (Fastchip) drag & drop remap system you can realistically see anywhere between 3-8bhp.
