Inferno Pics, and Cleaning Questions

I've been bitten by the detailing bug as well, and I'm after a decent polish, I've always used SRP but find that it's about as good as rubbing butter all over the car and doesn't really do anything.

Maybe it's just my technique, or I'm doing something wrong, but could you let me know what you'd recommend?

At the moment I'm loving Megs Tech Wax, comes up with a lovely finish, and two coats has lasted for the past month now.

SRP is an abrasive polish and if used correctly it can give excellent results by hand. The trick is to not over do it ie dont put a thick layer on. Make it as thin as possible and even across the panel. Follow this up with some patience and EGP followed by a wax and im sure you;d be very happy.

what do you apply the srp with mate? Try doing it with a proper applicator pad! If that fails you could always try some 3M hand glaze which i think is really good!

Wasn't really sunny yesterday, so you can't see the pearl, but sun light makes it stand out a lot.

With the SRP apply it in a 1 foot square area and then work it in for a minute or so. Then buff off

There 16"s, really wish I'd got 15"s now though, having studied tyre prices :dapprove:
