Cup wheels and standard tail lamps

I am off to look at a Cup later this week and if it is the right price then i will be buying, however the previous owner took it upon themselves to fit clear tail lamps and changed the standard wheels to some 5 spoke ones, neither of which i particularly like.

All I want to know really is, how much would a set of standard tail lamps cost and how easy to find and how much are standard Cup wheels?

Having had a look around, are the standard wheels 16" Turinis? Sorry for being a tad slow with all this, still pretty new to the world of Cliosport. Cheers.

yep 16" turinis but they have the renault centre badge. as for new rear lights ebay ftw!

Just had a look on ebay, i wasn't sure if the Cup lights were any different, cheers for your help. Can you see why if I buy that car I'd want to change the wheels? If i get that particular car, then selling the wheels that are on at the moment will go part way to buying some Turinis.

I cannot understand why some loser has changed the lightweight Turini 172 cup wheels which are desinged for the track with some aftermarket rubbish.

Turinis cost circa £500 mate, I wouldn't touch that particular car unless you got the dealer to come down a lot on the price and providing the rest of the car is in good nick which, by judging from the mods the previous owner has done, doesn't look promising.

Indeed, bad looking 17's and lexus lights are a bad sigh that the owner drove it like a c**t.

What you guys both said had already gone through my head. I'll have a look anyway. It may be rubbish, but there is no harm in looking other than wasting an hour of my day, i don't have work tomorrow. I wouldn't be buying it unless the dealer moved quite significantly anyway. I think they want £4195 with 63000 miles and i don't know if the belts have been done. Well see.

Trying to find a decent 172 or Cup for under £4500 in Suffolk or within easy reach is becoming a bit labourious.

Belts not done! How old is it? They should be done after 5 years, so they must be due or overdue by now. FMS in Ipswich would be able to do the belts for you if you didnt trust the dealer to
