Fantastic cutscenes tell a very good if not perfect story.

Absolutely the best of the best these days. Your jaw will drop.

Great weapon effects, fantastic voice acting and a mostly brilliant (though sometimes overdone) soundtrack.
9.5 Gameplay
Great gunplay, stealth works very well (mostly), the puzzles are rewarding and, maybe even best of all, a killer online component.
9.5 Lasting Appeal
The game is give or take about 10 hours in length, which feels right, but then there's the multiplayer. Yes, you will be hooked.

I only bought the first one after seeing the gameplay video of the second... best game I've played on the PS3 so far and easily the best £12 I've ever spent

Not played it mate, didn't even use my code from Infamous. My mate at work said it was piss poor, yet all the reviews of the full game say the multiplayer is fantastic so I'm going to wait until I have the full game.

I 'finished' the online portion of Killzone 2 today to unlock the sniper badge so am now 'freed' up for Forza 3 and Uncharted 2
Never finished Killzone, played it through on Hard and got to the final fight but it just pissed me off :dapprove:

Yes mate, there's a box that connects to the console via the optical cable which can then be passed through to your surround sound if needed. The box charges the head phones, connects to the headphones wirelessly and acts as the 7.1 amp.
[EDIT] Ignore the recharge bit, it takes AAA batteries....

BETA is aweome imo
shouldnt be compared to COD.
the animations, moves, fluidity are awesome.
the textures and colours, effects are as good as almost any pc game ! (only runs 720p but meh still rocks).
the game trailer is all actual graphics and again only thing ive seen beat them is the ATI ruby demo and even then its close.. which when you consider a ps3 is like a low range gaming pc in power and memory is a pretty insane achievment
gamplay on multiplayer is simply but fun because you can see your character doing lots of jumps and stealith moves its actually emerses you more than first person.
sound is pretty average online, gun sounds arent amazing.
so for me its
Plus points:
9/10 GFX (only a few things like crysis beat it hands down)
animation 9/10 again really fluid
controls, slick and quick (apart from the naff ps3 controller)
great fun online blasting folk and hiding, like an improved GOW2
bad points:
sound aint too great
non destructable environments
not as involved as COD4/5 (MORE ARCADEY)
probably going to buy it

My issues were two fold, firstly I didn't know all the controls, stealth takedowns etc thats my fault but will only really be mastered by playing through the SP.
Secondly Uncharted has never been about 'shoot em' ups, whilst it would be great to hide up high and do a few 'stealth' take downs you'll only end up at the bottom of the leaderboard! Those who run around mad, shooting will top the group but imo that misses the point?
Anyway its pointless speculating until the full game comes out, the fact that the multiplayer suite has been reviewed as 'worth the $60 alone' makes me think theres more to come!

I was waiting 7 minutes last night, trying to get a match but nothing
mine started like that but its got progressivley better.
have you looked at all the maps (for graphics) in custom mode.. i know its not online but you can admire the gfx without getting shot.
