Snowfoam questions?

Got all the kit from Matt
Made it all up, inc marking bottle for correct dose.
Got quiet a lot of foam after playing around, but still had over half bottle left after covering car twice.
Is this correct?

Seen some photos where it looks loads thicker?

Any tips?

Keep using it until its all gone!

It should come out fairly thick once you have played around with the lance.

How did you fill the lance up?? 1Inch of snow foam in the bottle then topped up with warm water??

100ml marked bottle, snowfoam then warm water to almost top.
Didn't use more than 1/4 of mixture was ages playing round. How long to empty bottle when set correct?
Try on the mrs tomorrow.
Is it getting balance of spray/flow with delivery dial on top?
Should i rinse out lance afterwards?

Yes the dial on top controls the ratio of water and snowfoam mix. - is a strong mix + is a weak mix.

If you set it to fully - you will cover the whole car if your quick. I have mine set about an 8th of a turn back from fully - if that makes sense ? You should aim to set it so you have just enough to cover the car once.

Yes rinse out the lance afterwards, it is recommended you spray just water through the lance afterwards.

I've never got anywhere near using a whole bottle on just one car (and these have been Range Rovers etc), so I only fill it halfway, and still dont use it all! Especially on something small like a clio.
I can cover my clio like the pic above with only a 1/4 bottle filled!!

Dont waste it mate, have a play with the mixture until you're happy with the thickness.

I aim to use the whole bottle but setting it to a stronger ratio allows me to use less concentrated snowfoam.

db - how much concentrated snowfoam are you puttin into the bottle before you fill it half way.

Sorry I couldn't take your call - I have tonsillitis

You'll never need to use all of the 1L on one car, but I still always mix up 1L, and just use the other half next time.

Try adding a touch of shampoo too, this may thicken it up. The flow rate of your pressure washer makes a massive difference too - which model Karcher do you have?
