haha yer that was me alrite. Was you in the Passat by any chance? Yer having a few problems with exhaust at the min, keeps dropping sick of straightening it up. Nothing special mods wise on mine? What about yours, surprised you kept up to be fair

I was surprised too, i've just had it mapped but the rollers kept playing up and I haven't managed to get a readout yet, somewhere in the region of 200bhp I hope, but the midrange torque is spot on, you would of left me from standstill.
I only signed up to the forums to see if it was definitely a sport model you had as I wasn't expecting to keep up, not had a chance to have a play in it yet as although you get a few cars wanting to drive fast on carholme, they usually turn off at the by-pass.
My flashing was pure admiration for the exhaust and flames it was popping out, sounds like a turbo car with anti-lag!

I dont know why your so surprised about a mapped 1.8 turbo keeping up with a normally aspirated 2.0ltr ha. Take it you saw the clio sport sticker in my back window? How do you know who I am though? I was just on my way home, kept waiting for you to have a play every now and again. Glad you liked the flames

First topic I found on here was exhaust hanging low, so searched your username and someone else spotted you on the a57 so presumed it was you.

I might have 20 more bhp, but my car weighs 1.6 tonne so was genuinely surprised, either that or the book figures on you guys clios are way off the mark :rasp:

I was waiting at brayford east lights when all of a sudden I heard the damn thing and thought, I gotta find out what that is, had to hang back after bypass roundabout, I wasn't going to follow you with that "manouvre"

and yes mr whiteley, boost is definitely FTW
