What, of tiny bits of metal stuck to my wheels?

I'm not just on about brake dust, I mean chunks of brake pad, that has stuck to the wheels like glue. They are even hard to pick off with a fingernail.

Just spray over it with white paint, looks Ok from a distance!

If you do get them sorted give them a few coats of polish and use a decent sealent, I would hope it will mean cleaning them after will be easier and save you f**king on like you're having to do at the minute.

Is iron-x worth using on bodywork? Car is fairly clean without many 'visible contaminants'.

If it is a light colour then yes, regardless if you can see them or not, they will still dull the colour significantly.

Proper decontamination of a light coloured car is very important

yes, mine had some paint around 2 month's ago and it still bled like a b**ch when i used iron X on the side of the car

With IronX, I noticed it was 'bleeding' out of a load of black spots, which are obviously very easy to spot (close up) on my white car.
But it didn't actually remove them.

So is it a case of apply more, or switch to claying? (Which ill do anyway)

Probably tiny splinters of iron behind the tar etc. Can also look like Black but it's just the iron dissolving.

These wheels get hot, and I mean hot.

I think C5 was tested up to 500Degrees.

Work on exhausts aswell.

hit it properly first time round with an iron remover, do the prep and seal with C5. car shampoo will be enough then to remove brake dust for minimum of 6months of track use IMO. is still working on our daily car 16months on

saving my old formula C1 for my motorbike. considering new formula C1 for bumpers and roof topped with wax instead of C1.5

get someone local to do it is probably your best bet. supply the c5, little bit of beer money to proper prep and seal your wheels an itll save you the full cost of all the prep products, and no fear of wrong application

ironx won't touch motorsport brake dust Tony trust me, Fairy power spray is the only thing that will (don't even have to scrub!)

in laymans terms would it be 1...wash car 2..iron x it 3..de clay/tar 4..wash it again 5..polish it 6..wax it 7..seal it

can this iron x only be bought online
