Not much to update apart from fitting a set of PS3's to the evos.

Also i have had a mate making a surround for my PMS shifter. He will do some fine adjustments and will be doing one in carbon fibre and another material.

Had a few little dents taken out of the 182 this week by The Dent man.Did a great job,did not get any photos of the process as was dont at my work, while i was out.

I have the mot due next week,so back on the cat and have to say i might just keep it with the cat on now.

Fitted up the undertray i bought along with a clean and new bolts and washers.

Once mot is done,i will start on taking off the roll centre kit for a good clean, new bearings and also fit rubber boots that i have bought for the bump steer ends.I have also been thinking to take off the arb to be powder coated along with some mounts etc.I do have a pair of wishbones with black series bushes fitted than will get powder coated also.

A few photos also of the recent wheel colour change. Not 100% on the colour yet,i will prob change the colour again soon maybe easter time.Split on back to a silver of some kind or a dark met anthracite, thoughts on these colours please would be nice.

Another Years mot done on the French Frie this morning, with no advisories.

With having put the cat back on for the mot,i have bought a non res centre section to put on also.As i have been thinking to keep the cat on & just have a non res centre.Anyone have or had this set up on?.

Easy to change things back if i dont like it.

Recently had the mot done on the clio,so had to put the cat back on and while thinking about it,i decided to keep the cat on and get the centre box taken out.Its just an old janspeed/ktec system but i will look to get a decent system soon maybe PMS or a custom cat back made from Hayward & Scott.

It doesnt really sound much difference in the car,but now has a rasp when at high revs kicking its head in.

Been doing a bit of TLC with the 182

•Painted wishbones
•black Poly Bush wishbones
•New bumpsteer ends
•Bumpsteer rubber boots
•New bearings in the RCK
•Clean up & painted the RCK
•Painted Subframe mounts
•Clean up protection on the sills
•Oil & Filter change
•New tie Rods
•EIbach Camber Bolts
•Clean up bolts/nuts on all parts removed

•Also a new dust cover

Just need to get the alignment done & get it booked in at the bodyshop to get both rear panels done & other bits.

I'm afraid you'll lose all the detail of the design and the wheels will just look like small dark blobs. Hyper silver will look fresh and clean, anthracite probably a bit more aggressive.

Alignment all done by Nick at Alexs workshop Awmotorworks.Just over 2 degrees on the front camber and also had the drivers rear toe corrected with shims,Drives so nice now.

I also have it booked in at the bodyshop to have the rear lower quarters treater/repaired before it gets to bad.

Once done i will be getting the rear beam rebuild & treated underneath, then have it corner weighed.

So after being 2 weeks at the bodyshop, the clio is back.Had the same thing done to this 182 as i did with my cup.The lower rear arches had signs of rust/corrosion starting. So all of that was treated cut out etc. Also where the corner of the bumper meets the arch, there was bubbling starting there also. Also had all the sills covered in stonechip.

Also a set of wheels came up for sale local to me.With a few messages exchanged i bought the wheels and he even dropped them off to me on the day.

Always liked these wheels, not sure if there gen ones but still in good shape and very light.

I trail fitted them to one side of clio to see what they will look like,im getting them refurbished this week in a nickle silver and then will make a choice if i will keep them.

What wheels are they? Do you think they'd fit over Brembos on standard discs?

Reps or not, they're the absolute sex! If you decide you don't like them, please can you wait about 3 months and sell them to me?
