Not quite sure what to do with the VRS at the mo’. It’s a great car, just unsure whether I want something a bit quicker and/or a bit comfier.

Think X3/5, Cupra Formentor (300bhp one), T-Roc R, Leon Cupra Estate, maybe even a Volvo SUV.

Looks good after a clean and seal though.

I'd love one of these in a few years time in estate form. Are they not that quick then? And you say something comfier, is the ride quite harsh with these?

Yeah they’re decent but I suppose after a stage 1 Cupra and M140i they’re a bit sluggish.

Ride quality hampered by the fact it’s on H&R springs 😂

Since the F80 has gone we've not got anything decent and my golf was getting a bit on and needed a chunk spending. Newest car I've ever owned 😂

Just an FR150 with the Technology pack, have retrofitted autolights/wipers and enabled Android Auto

Think I'll get it mapped as well but it goes alright for what it is.

Was looking at BMW touring but I was gonna have to spend 4/5x what this cost for what I'd want and then looked at VRS estates but they were similar money for older cars so sacked that off ad this was local.

Decent daily tbf

Stock is 242bhp.

Stage 1 will be just over 300bhp. Some see 310bhp or even a tad more with intake and exhaust.

Is yours Manual? Does it have the same issue regards a weak clutch like the Golf's? Only thing stopping me remapping my GTI atm.

Get it mapped up and change the springs to something a bit comfier?

It's a great looking car!

Had this Cupra Ateca for around 4 weeks now, it's a brilliant family sized car whilst still being able to be fun. Love the way it looks too, and it's not often you see one amongst the sea of formentors and Leon's.

Couple of crap pictures after a wash last night

Thats lovely mate! They look even better on those Y tipped ST alloys that are bronze/black? I believe these came with an Akrapovic exhaust option also?

Yeah they did come with an Akrapovic option, unfortunately this doesn't have it.. it does sound quite understated for the looks so it's something I might explore at some point without it becoming 'too much'

I love the bronze / black alloys but the wife hated them, so we compromised and didn't get them and I'm on strict orders not to change these.. some compromise 🙄

Plenty nice aftermarkets you could go for, good choice! Still a rare sight on the roads too👌🏼

Silver. Always f**king silver.

You’re not 21 anymore pirate.

Meh, i did dither on it but my wheel guy showed me the shade, its glorious.

In fairness, it is a bright yellow poof chariot, the wheel shade is a minor detail in all these f**king shenanigans Rab

Seen this on hotukdeals, but as usual, not for the tyre size I need(235/40/19).

The Goodyears they had on 18s were mega steal at £217

Had mine fitted on Tuesday for that price. What a deal!
@Danith had them fitted also.

I hate all the odd size I need for tyres on my cars lol

When I've seen the price for 18s, I was soo happy, thought I can use them on a set of 18inch I have, but then I've noticed that I would need 235/45/18, and my happiness went away 😄

Saw @Danith had them fitted and I copied :ROFLMAO: was on the look out for tyres anyway as the decent but mismatched ones were doing my nut in.

The Asy6's are class as well.

I am surprised to see that the Octavia is not sharing the tyre sized with the Superb

Had mine and wife’s dirty Germans cleaned up as they hadn’t been touched in a while.

The chap put some coating on that’ll hopefully last over winter. My first drive that evening could see the coating doing its thing, the water that had condensed on the car just rolled off nicely.

Had the RS almost 6 years now, still do t know what I’d swap it for that doesn’t cost the earth.
