I use Dr Leather, but it's a bit more expensive compared to Carpro Cleanse or Gyeon's new range of leather cleaners.

I'd recommend it also. The others can be a bit mass produced. The leather wipes are great for quick clean also.

It's been around a long time, i think even Jim at White Details still uses it but i could be wrong.

Are you using a dedicated brush to work it in? Helps get into the grain better.

Yeah I always use a brush, leave it, then wipe and condition.

I really rated infinity wax leather cleaner, I've recently been using autoglym leather cleaner which I picked up cheap and is decent enough.

I bought Infinity Wax Leather Cleanser a few months ago and like the majority of their products, I can't fault it. Smells real nice too.

Can anyone recommend a hose for my Karcher K4? It's the hose from the power washer to the standard nozzle that I'm after, mine burst whilst washing the car over the weekend.

Preferably a hose that doesn't coil up like the standard one did. Cheers (y)

Speaking of hoses, if anyone's not got some of these then get some.

I got some for Christmas the other year and the joy I get from the hose blissfully gliding on the runners rather than getting caught and snagged on the tyre is unmatched.

My k4 died and I bought an Ava.

I got one from In2detailing , 10metres you can have for cheap if you want.

Also have a stubby gun to, it was pretty expensive as it was an Italian brand.

Mtm SGS or something

Need to get a set of these. I got a longer hose and still end up cursing it getting caught around the tyres.

  Whichever has fuel
evening boyos.

I need some hard pads, a 5 inch backing plate for a Rupes Mk2 and a bottle or two of Rupes polish. Plus a few other odds and sods.

Best ‘one stop shop’ website to use?

A few years sgo I use to wash the neighbours cars over the road but they moved so no car washing for a while. I was washing mine this morning and a guy said as he was walking by said you can wash my car, I replied just bring it down and I’ll do it, he just walked on said nothing else. Spoken to him in the past and he’s local. Whats is the price roughly nowadays for a car wash also with snow foam and clean rims and tyres and tyre dressing using branded products? It’s not the first time walkers by asking about doing their cars

I've got a new car, paintwork is in good nick, but has some tar spots on the bonnet and bootlid, have tried some tar and glue remover which didn't seem to touch them at all, then tried a bilt hamber clay bar, but really had to go for it to get even the smaller tar spots off. Any recommendations? Spray on, wipe off would be ideal, but priority is not damaging the paintwork.

if you've tried some half decent T&G and its not moving then that would suggest its not Tar. Little tip, and sorry if im preaching to the choir here, is to let the T&G dwell a little while. Use a peice of kitchen towel, soak it and leave it on the panel for a minute or two to really let it work. If that doesnt shift it, I doubt its anything Tar based.

If T&G doesnt remove it but a clay bar does, that has me wondering whether its actually a dark colour overspray of some sort? Specs of black paint perhaps?

I'll try letting it dwell, may well be the problem. Wants to run off the bonnet, so will try a kitchen towel. I had a section of microfibre soaked in it and was rubbing on, which I have had success with in the past, but perhaps not as stuck on. Quite sure it's not black paint, no black paint on the car beside gloss black trim, so I'd be surprised.
