Im using them on a 200bhp saxo, as I said I think my issues are with the weight of the shell itself in the wet, plus the suspension set up I run etc etc.....
At brands in the pissing rain the only car that was on R888s and not suffering was a R26R, all of the lightweights cars were moaning and...
Dan -R out of interest what compound are you running.
Running a medium compound rather than the soft I do find you need to get heat into them, and as I stated earlier when worked hard the grip just falls off once they are over the optimum, which alot of people wont realise happens when you use...
Sayers rig is alot more flexible than yours in design due to the seperate suction cups. We shot off the roof and bonnet for different things. So you will be limited more by that and the angles which you can use.
A few more from Adam.
If anyone is around Guildford area, or up north near Northallerton I recommend giving him a shout if you want anything like this done! Some different shots to get of your little toys :D
Drop him a shout on adsayer@gmail.com
What most people wont realise though is with the R888s the grip doesnt just fade like a normal tyre on the limit, you will go from massive amounts of grip to none at all, and when they go off they do go off.
Great tyres, just not suited to alot of people for a daily driver.

Longer trumpets deffo the better option imo purely for the midrange gains. Hope you enjoy it. I want bodies on my '2' as i miss them when not driving the vtr
im a bit worried it might be an intermittant problem.
Only thing i can think of would be the ignition barrel may be linked, as on saxos the ignition relays tend to go and takes out the heaters/rear screen in one go.
Im hoping it isnt a problem coming on as only had the car a few weeks.
Today got in my car this morning and needed the AC on (has been used recently and worked fine) well today even at low setting it was just pumping out hot air. Even with no ac and just blowers it was all hot air.
Later in the day it seemed to reset and be able to get cold air again.
