Engine sensors. DTA S60 wiring

Hi lads. Started on the loom today. Quick question, are the sensors one sides or not? Most have 2 wires like air temp, water temp, oil temp etc. They have a 5v/12v feed and signal to ecu. Does it mater what pin goes to what like and LED bulb? Or like a normal light bulb?

Actualy most have ground and signal. 5v/12v only 3 wore sensors like TPS, MAP, oil pressure

Air temp, water temp, etc, 2 pin sensors are usually just sensor earth to one side and signal the other pin, doesn't matter which way around for most of them as they're just resistors.
