CL RC5 are better than DS2500 but will squeal.

My 172 has done this a couple of times now, and both times a new thermostat fixed the issue.

Sounds like the thermostat needs replacing.

I run CL RC6 pads in my 172, they are very squeaky when cold, I presume the RC5 pads are the same. IIRC the RC5 pads need no bedding in.

As above, when I damaged one of my ABS sensors I had the same dash warning lights.

Yes the ABS/ESP still works Yes they will fit, most Clio 4 pot kits fit behind 15" wheels so you should have no trouble fitting them behind a standard 16" wheel.

Knowsit..My car is held together with zip ties and duct tape ;)

No I've never changed the injectors Mark, the car is now on just under 155k so I was planning on changing them soon anyway. The lap that Chris uploaded? Yes I did turn in too early, that wasn't a great lap TBF.

Noticeable misfire/s were after Bergwerk up the back straight, and after Klostertal up to the Karussell. IIRC I between quarter and half a tank of fuel mate.

Lol. I think I will swap the leads/ coilpack over to my old set of OEM Renault leads coilpack and see how she runs. The trouble is I can't seem to make it misfire at 6k during normal driving condtions, it only did it when hot on the second lap of the ring.

I got the rad direct from direnza mate, but IIRC kam racing also sell them. My fan is currently held on with zip ties, you also need to fabricate brackets to hold the rad in place, so it's far from a easy swap :(

Update: Chris and Tim came over to mine to 'help' me fit my new radiator, spark plugs, coil pack and magnecor leads. I also had my wheel alignment sorted at the wheel alignment centre Southampton, and changed the wheels over to my antracite 2118's/R888. I checked the tyre pressures and all...

My CL RC6 pads have been great. What are the DS1.11 like for dust ruining wheels etc?

RC6 are better for track work ( I am currently using Rc6 pads on my 172)

Depends on what the car is used for and budget.

I had a set of Compbrake B4 4 pots fitted, I now run standard calipers, goodridge braided lines Brembo HC discs and CL RC6 pads. Stopping power is great, even more so with my R888 tyres fitted! IMO Clio 1*2 don't need 4 pots, however I do miss the lightness and looks of them though so may fit...

I presume you have checked all the coolant hoses are in place, and not split?

As above, change the thermostat.

You can get 421's to work with the standard ECU.
