Just fitted these to mine too. £53 posted off e-bay, perfect fit. I've kept the pins and fastenings off the old mats in case I need them but these look really good. :D
The only difference is that for the rear you get two separate mats rather than the original one-piece that goes over...
Just had the same problem finding the f**ker!
The handbook shows a LHD setup with it handily placed between the header tank and the PAS reservoir on the RHS of the engine bay. Of course in the conversion to RHD it had to be moved across along with the brake pedal.
More to the point, why...
No... cos it needs the extra power to get to the temp you set (?!)
Alternatively, you could increase the temp until the fan is at a reasonable speed and then gradually reduce the temp.... Or you could just man up and let it do its job ;)
Not really! And in twice as many words
Anyone with petrol in their veins loves the sound of a good engine/exhaust - it's what sets us apart. I spend half the day looking out the office window to see what just went past!
My Alfa only has (had, once) 105bhp, but the sound of the...
K-Tec "quote" 8-10bhp gain on a Stealth.... I doubt it's quite as much as that, not that I tested mine, but it does all help. Don't think I could say that I noticed a difference.
As for the debate, it's a) not all about peak power output, it's about improvement across the range and b)...
And in defence of the silly replies, the sarcasm is just a way of expressing how obvious the answer is to your question. Of course you should insure it properly, it's a no brainer.
As said [in one of the few useful replies] above, ignorance is not a defence when it comes to insurance. IF they realise, they would be well within their rights to use it to squirm out of paying. How big a chance the 'IF' is, no-one knows - that's the risk you take.
My personal opinion is...
I dare say I could take at least a 1/3 off my premium if I moved 20 miles up the road, but that's a pointless discussion. Greenlight quote came in nearly £100 more than Brentacre...
Insurance is there to cover you when sh!t happens. It doesn't really matter whether you caused the sh!t or whether it just fell on you from a great height.
Or jumped up at you in this case....
My stepson (20yr old) is looking for insurance on his 1.2. He has 1yr NCB after the first year of insurance which was included with purchase but he's now looking for the best deal for renewal.
Apart from the usual compare/confused/tesco etc mainstream insurers, are there any specialists that...
It was £360 for the standard car previously. You should try getting a quote on a Leeds 6 postcode..... Any big city postcode hammers your premium, whether you're actually in a nice area or not.
Fuse not a problem if the lighter works. As suggested, clean the crap out and wiggle around for the best contact.
Also of course, have you tried the TT charger in another car? Could be dead.
Thumbs up from me for Brentacre. All mods declared on a Leeds postcode for under £500. :star: Plus any other mods other than those that dramatically increase the bhp (I wish) will be free with no admin charge.
Above all though a decent set of lads, knew exactly what they were talking about...
