My mate went from a P1 to a Willy and is happy enough. He'd like my 182 too. Knows it is slower but is happy to give up some speed for reliability and lower running costs.

The only figure that counts is the US sales figures where they have been out for a while and the 360 is outselling the PS3. You can't really pick any faults with that figure. Both consoles have been around for a while, there are no stock shortages and more people are buying 360's than PS3's.

I used to buy legally but got fed of doing the burn to CD and re-rip method. Much preferred online buying though, easier to find the right track at the right quality with a quick and reliable download. I particularly liked iTunes but as I say I don't bother anymore... I don't like file sharing...

In answer to the original question: No it is not worth it. But people just like to get the most expensive version for some reason. A bit like how everyone used to spend more buying XP Pro instead of XP home when 99% of them never used the extra features. :rolleyes:

No problems with our 360's, two different DVD players and Telewest TV drive boxes using HDMI, or Component. All work fine. My channel button flicks through Ext1 (RGB Scart 1), Ext 2 (Scart) then Component, HDMI and finally PC. But it only selects the two HD connections if something is plugged...

See now for me if the PS3 had rumble and they revised the sticks (I can live with the spongie triggers) I would be a lot more tempted to buy one.
