Indeed! Most fun I've ever had! Got to get it perfect though and not come off the gas too quickly or it will grip like a b**ch with full lock on. I'm a bit of a psycho.
Exactly the reason why I've stopped modifying my 1.1 TCE, saving for a Deep Blue RS 200 now. The Author of this thread should consider this too. Just drive your 172 and then get a 182 after a little bit, maybe even a 200?
Can we let you know what?
Get the bumper and get a custom piper/fabricator such as Longlife to extend the pipe of the current exhaust out for you and create a secondary pipe, will probably be expensive though and it will never be as good as a full dual cat back system as that would be much more...
I had the same issue with Longlife as they need the Flanges for the turbo. Best bet is to purchase a pre-setup decat from KTEC or another company and take it down there for fitting.
I had a new DV (For noise)
Full Catback Exhaust with Cat still included
Panel Filter
172/182 Injectors
I achieved 112BHP without Map.
Went down to KTEC and they gave me 130BHP with a balls load of torque so it pulls like a train lower revs. Plenty of 1st gear wheel spin which is fun to...
If your talking to the both of us, then my answer is nope! I've never used my car on a track as of yet. But there are some bends which I take extremely fast with understeer when there is nobody about and plenty of space.
I had a mate mention that the decat actually lost him bhp because of the car registering the emissions and cutting power as it was too high. Something for you to look in to?
Think so? I thought it generally wouldn't matter as the intercooler would take care of the heated up air by the turbo so a cold air feed wouldn't make a difference at all? I have to take off my cold air feed from my air box when its below 8c as I get overboost issues.
At the moment I run 155lb/ft and there is 0% slip but I do get stupid wheel spin in 1st with Michelins, its only done 15k miles though. Also, what if one of the rods broke in the engine? Really don't like the sound of taking a chance on a car with finance.
Well they technically don't if they have a good intercooler. Why you'd want to put an induction kit on a tractor engine is beyond me anyway but crack on!
Best bet is to ask a company such as RSTuning or KTEC to do this for you. Either one is your choice as many would state on here. There are specialists on the Forums that can help you with this and will do it for a cheaper price if they do so wish to.
Ah excellent! I've got the GT Line 1.2 TCE Petrol Version and I think that this is what the car is missing looks wise. The gloss bumper in the front looks lovely too, do you know how to pop them off so I can gloss them up by any chance?
Hi Gents and Ladies,
I've recently come to love a bodykit that looks OEM from Renault.
However, I cannot find the name of it, it is not the SX bodykit as I am really not a fan as it looks extremely 'Chavvy'. This however, looks extremely subtle.
If anyone knows the name, PLEASE post it...
You ring Ren, they put you through to a parts company and you tell them what you want. £500 for splitter and side skirts, another £200 for the back skirts.
I'm looking for this, I don't know the name though...
Yeah the K03 will probably require Rods, Clutch, Gearbox and Fuel Pump which is expensive anyway. Yeah, I always liked the idea of a tiny engine with loads of power. Do you think this is a viable option? How much do you reckon?
Hi, can anyone recommend me in what way I should go with this?
I can put a K03 turbo on my car and get about 170BHP after a few more modifications or go for a 225 2.0 engine conversion.
What does everyone think? Is it more sensible to do an engine conversion? Can anyone give me estimates for...
Someone mentioned putting an O ring around a certain part of your gearbox a few weeks ago?
Try googling Clio Tight Shift or something? It's definitely there.
Your looking at 2,500 - 5,000
Just get a TCE and modify it like I have, 100 BHP is enough at our age, we are all heavy footed.
My Insurance is £900 with plenty of modifications with Admiral.
