the valve is built into the nozzle, either replace that or try with one way valves before it
the outer black icons , headlights , seatbelt, door open, i had to cutaround, think lockwood endd up making some to be direct fir but wasnt till a year after i fitted mine
i know back of dials where on a seperate fuse, have you checked for corrosion on the rear cluster connections as these often get water in.
did you remove the reg light totally back to wires and not just take bulb out?
ye i changed to them, just check all outer icons match to theres for some reason mine had 2 different, so kept the outer icons as original plastic sheet

once u get to dail units use 2 teaspoons and gently leaver up,then reapply but dont push all way down, run test again make sure its correct then push full down
yer the needles should land dead on the values

there easy enough to take off and redo, but if you do break them its not a cheap fix for new dails unit
