last year i paid £103 that included fitting, that was from some random place in leeds. but black circles and local place was 106. even got kwick fit down to 118 with phone call
only issue i have with mine is, couple times a year it wont start on first turn over, or a slight missfire when engines just been running, only happens for 2-3secs then its fine for rest of jurney
if its dripping where the connector is, cut end off pipe n try again, if not try one way valve it may have a bigger grip on pipe. plus see if it leeks when yer using the front washers
the one way valves is to fix the front head light jets weeping which yer saying isnt this
if its passenger side arch theres the 2 pipe connectors, maybe ones come off
Mine was same, but i didnt and wouldnt use screwdriver method. tried few tools in end bought somet like this

i had the highsport ones, ordered from venom.
car was driveable or roads, and was good. after 4 years one front damper failed. and on same year noticed the top of a rear one had all corroded.
Apart from that cant complain really
check cables attached to the handle part, if its other end no idea how you`d go about releasing it
could try puling handle and some one to pull bonet up, maybe a springs gone
ye put spanner in so its angled over body of car, then angle alen key with spanner on end so its nearly touching bulk head then push swan neck spanner so the other spanner push`s against bulk head , and use bit of pressure should work, always has for me
Which side are u stuck on
for me drivers side allen key in spanner on end and wedge it upto the bulk head.
passenger side piece of wood on bulkhead and same.
I dont get how u couldnt grip spanner just turn it a bit, unless uve rounder the top allen key hole?
Ive always got mine off with allen key even after fitted for 4 years came off.
Right size allen key, pit it though hole on a spanner or in a bar to extend it, then bit of force with swan neck spanner on nut n done.
Or get the halfords pro ones least they replace if u break the ends
