second person if u aint got spring compressors. tbh, the second person doesnt need any skills jut there to hold things etc.
as for tools, mines a 20 quid argos set n old bits left from dads tool box.
rears u wont have to do much with to change the springs.

When i fitted the standard front spings its fairly simple, i didnt use a compression clamp, just one persons wieght on top...

well u dont need em with standard 172 suspension, have to tried pulling the damper out fully then one person pushing top mount down whilst other gets the nut onto it.

Ok recently my car developed some knock / rattle happens in a straight line , faily even road. At low speeds as well as 50ish.
I had a look few weeks ago and notices track rod ends where knackard so repaced these, then noticed the drivers side driveshaft inner boot was leaking so replaced...

Just spoke to renault said they had aa bullkitin saying not to supply the reconned drive shafts, so a new ones 249 and comes with the abs ring does that sound right?

Also if i was to fit, is it a case of remove the hub nut / maybe hit this with hammer to loosen it.
then remove 2 suspension bolts and pull disc towards to get it out?

Right ive had a slight rattle / nocking presumed it to be suspension, Ive just jacke car up and the drivers side inner boot is totally ripped so leaked all grease out. Going off previous posts you cant just change the boots, plus with movement in shaft id presume it faulty (im no engineer though...
nah not fussed about live info, im more of fit it then its there to connect to when needed. My phone mount is in the cupholder with built in charger so is a pain in arse to take out.
Main thing would be that that cable still allows the cupholders back down?
