hunter laser alignment will be more like 40/50 quid.
but with the more basic equipment be more like 25 quid. all 4 wheels re balanced probably be 20 quid if your lucky, try that first.
My friend years ago crashed into the back of a corsa at about 20mph his micra was a write off literally fucked. The corsa had a tiny scratch didnt even claim on insurance.. so I can believe that was 30mph.
Spent 20 mins with a file earlier. Seems to have done the trick... its now a nice snug fit on the 8mm. I have to wait until I get my new nips tho before I can attempt to crack it off :)
Thanks for the advice all
Cheers. I did tickle it with moleys earlier not to hard tho cos didnt want to crush it. Will reassess when the time comes. I do have a 8mm 6 point. So may I should just spend 20 mins filing each side lol monotonous but will probably work!
Howdy chaps
Not a clio but the same principal. Got a caliper with almost round nut on it. I dont have a 6 point 9mm but I dont think this will work. I have ordered one anyway and 4 new bleed nipples so im ready to go
My options I guess.. file or grind flats and try and get an open ended...
Chips idea is best. Although firstly check all associated pipework etc carvon canister acoustic valve brake servo and also the little rubber seal on the bottom rear if the plenum is another possibility
Nice innovation there.
and martin yeah, i think it would very slightly effect performance, not enough for you to notice mind, although on turbo cars like chip said its more prone to spray oil allover the intercooler/associated pipework.
I think i just took the pipe off, dont really recall it spewing oil everywhere and never noticed any burning smells. do you guys who run catch tanks actually collect any residue in them?
Sounds like bad news probably going to need a top end rebuild if either the aux belt or cambelt snapped/pulley broke apart. Sorry to hear that really unlucky!!
Ps how have you not paid for it?
Just get it back to yours, strip all the valuable'ish bits then phone around the scrappers local to you i expect they will at the least pick it up FOC.
the rear quarter has possibly started rusting due to accident damage. i can see scrapes on the bumper. the problem is patching it up will only last a while before it starts bubbling up again. really you need to cut a section out and weld a new sheet in.
I cant tell if thats a front wing or rear...
Yeah I think you're probably right. Ive only used bosch or NGK in this instance. I like to replace like for like :) alright ill send you a PM in a sec.
Whenever I hear the word universal in a car product alarm bells ring lol. Like you say if it fixes it tho worth a shot.
15 quid posted if you still want one.
I would stick with a bosch one personally. Got an old but working one in the garage if you want it for cheap. Alternatively I think they are about 60 quid off the bay last time I bought one.
Heres what the pre cat lambda should be reading
The aux belt inst a hard job (particularly without AC since you dont have the gay tensioner, but irrelevant as you do) problem is kwik fit i doubt wont replace tensioner/pulleys etc.
maybe best get it towed by AA if you have cover to a renault specialist?
you have 2 plastic hoses i dont recall a metal one. ones the assist for the brake servo, one goes to the carbon canister, the carbon canister has a clip type hose, the brake servo just pulls off but if its been a long time it will need a hard pull. (lol)
