It will not work with TBs as youd be using a different ECU, Works well with cams, MAY work with a turbo as you can keep the standard programming and use a chip/piggyback device. (need to confirm that with henk/fastchip really)

Try cleaning the contacts first with some emery if its dancing round like a loony it will more likely be a bad connection rather than a faulty sensor it it was stuck at cold i would say faulty sensor

Did no-one listen to me? Its not the lacquer its the paint underneath the lacquer I know this because my mate also had the same problem with his yellow cupra and mopping it did jack all the bumper that was spryaed still looks out of place.
These cars are bad for fading, the paint fades undearneath the varnish, it was a nightmare for my mate to get the colours matched correctly on his one. Not much you can do really.
