To be honest the coils are crap so you never know but I would be looking at the leads first, maybe ones arching out. Try taping them up with some eleccy tape and try again.

Yeah they should have the equipment to do it. But they may have already done one themselves so ask them. if oil is breking into the combustion chamber its probably the stem seals. If its the rings then new engine time.
