Thats why Im always curious as to why people pay silly money for all this silkolene/motul s**t if you arn't planning on keeping the car for AT LEAST 5years plus then its not going to effect you.
It sounds pretty conclusive to me! Basically a larger flywheel will give you more control. Lighter flywheel less inertia less control but I still cant see it reducing top end torque
Ben get your boyfriend to have a quick peek I'm sure he can give a quick yay or nay answer on this.
Lighter flywheel = Less rotational mass = More power transferred to the wheels
So IMO you will gain torque and HP. Simple physics
(But I'm sure there is more to it than that!)
Thats how I looked at it anyway
See I'm really not sure here Ben I personally dont think you would but I was hoping some others may have a better idea.
"Will installing a lighter flywheel make me lose torque?" And there was a simple answer: "No, you will gain torque." Granted, it won't affect peak numbers, but the...
Alright Jon ;) (blackjack)
I can vouch for what he is saying he certainly knows what hes talking about when it comes to car audio.
Anyone that knows the basics behind electronics/ice knows that power caps are a waste of time. They are simply a cosmetic thing
