Its good practice but not reqaly necessary if the bolts are undamaged just idealy chnage the nuts if they have nyloc or least stick some locking compound on thme so they don't work loose
One push in the center clip and then just pull it out the way from memory
Best tst the fan if that works then check the resister pack is getting a reading from the cabin air con unit most likly youll find there power to the unit and the fan works so the resister pack is failed
Even the new race cars have uprated brakes option on them so even the bigger brakes on the 197 are still demed as inadequate for endurance racing
IMO 4 pots of a good design have worthwhile advantrages over any setup of stock calipers
IMO the dci is the quicker car bar the right top end power realy accelerating though the gears there not much in it my 65 isn't far off an 1.4 16V realy
Less colling so hope the rad is upto it might be worth lookng at a bigger rad or big coolent fan. Personaly I'd keep a heater as its a good ay of getting rid of heat and clear the windscreen.
Could be a failed dashboard they were a bit common but the battery with low power usualy mean the dasboard looses its memory the dahsboard failing is less common.
check the fuses though and earths
Coilovers but spend a lot or not at all there few decient setups worth it though
H and R are a good coilover same for KW but thats not cheap say £700
As for is it worth it its difficult to say you'll never make money but its ll about enjoyment
It will catch a bit but nothing much just check after a bit see whats worn there a rear little arch liner plastic slip which does wear so mayb cut it down a bit
Tyre wear is down to compound though if you abuse it they will wear down
I've had a full set of tyres all round last 6k before now but they never last more than 15k all round so say 8k on adverage for a set of fronts.
195/50 do catch on the rear ach liner so worh checking there no damage to the tyres and cut or fettle the rear liner catch they fettle or /the arch liner it wear away
