I don't understand a lot of your message though anyway ie "optoflexed it up last weekend at with out on toe"
only the mk2 phase 1 have hydrolic pas otherwise its electric (bar the few early mk2 phase 2 with it)
tunning the engine is fine ok gains are less than a 2.0 etc but its nothing wrong with it
depends what the engine had to start with I've seen a stock cars with 65hp get 75 on dynos
gains from the remap will be smll mostly the big benefit is the mid range gains
to likee and the pump caanot flow oil
too much and it goes in the breathers and the nengine burns the oil and the pumps has trouble etc the amount doens't realy show the engine the crank does run round in it but a little extra there woulnd't matter
New motors arn't cheap but check as prices do chnage second hand one is cheap enough just make sure the car has air con otherwise you ill be stuck
removal isn't that bad remove the scuttle panel move the wiperts round and remove
they will and do check on loads of cars sporty stuff will be checked more often than not regardless of turbo cars or not
it may well be and then your stuck with no insurance why bother paying insurance if your not going to keep it valid
they can and do though won't take a second to relise...
The gauge isn't that accurate due to the tank design and effectivness of gauge but realistically see what the trip says i'd be its near enough perfect bunless you have a leak
It always starts low its should do
short trip mpg is always going to be low even more so in the cold
wouldn't be...
